Tour Overview
After breakfast, you will drive to Marangu for excursion. While at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro you will be taken to a point where you can have a good view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. After viewing the Kilimanjaro you will also have a walking tour to Marangu waterfalls, you will have a chance to visit historical sites of clan wars and ancient legend including caves used for hiding during the Chagga – Maasai wars, etc.
Late afternoon you will drive back to Moshi/Arusha

Tour Itinerary
- Leave your accommodation in Moshi early to maximize your time on Kilimanjaro.
- Travel time to the Marangu Gate of Kilimanjaro National Park is approximately 2 hours.
- Meet your guide and complete park entry formalities.
- Prepare for your hike with a briefing and equipment check.
- Start your hike on the Marangu Route, also known as the "Coca-Cola" route.
- Walk through the lush rainforest, keeping an eye out for colobus monkeys and diverse birdlife.
- Arrive at the Mandara Huts, situated at 2,700 meters (8,858 feet).
- Take a rest and enjoy a picnic lunch.
- Optionally, take a short hike to the Maundi Crater for beautiful views of the surrounding area.
- Spend some time exploring the area around the Mandara Huts.
- Enjoy the views and take photos of the scenery.
- Start your descent back through the rainforest to the Marangu Gate.
- Enjoy the changing perspectives and possibly spot more wildlife on your way down.
- Complete your descent and sign out at the park gate.
- Receive a certificate for reaching Mandara Huts (if available).
- Start the drive back to Moshi.
- Reflect on your hiking experience and enjoy the scenic drive.
- Return to your accommodation in Arusha town.
- Relax and unwind after a rewarding day on Mount Kilimanjaro.
- Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes.
- Bring binoculars, a camera, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a hat.

- Follow park rules and respect wildlife.
